Luka Dončić left the Lakers vs. Clippers game with a leg injury and was ruled out, raising concerns about his short-term availability.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić exited Saturday night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a left leg injury, as the Lakers suffered a 103-88 loss at the Crypto.com Arena.
Dončić, the Lakers’ leading scorer, was limited to 12 points, five rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes of action before leaving the game at halftime because of a left leg contusion. He did not return for the second half, and the Lakers officially ruled him out for the remainder of the contest.

The injury came as Los Angeles already faced an injury-depleted roster, with key players like Rui Hachimura (groin) and Austin Reaves (calf) also sidelined. Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 32 points to lead Los Angeles to the win, snapping the Lakers’ recent skid.

Head coach comments and the Lakers’ update indicate that Dončić’s absence was due to the leg contusion, but the team has expressed hope that it is a short-term issue and expects more clarity on his status ahead of upcoming games.
Silver Screen and Roll
Dončić, one of the league’s top performers this season, has been among the NBA’s leading scorers and statistical leaders, and his availability will be closely watched by fans and analysts as the Lakers navigate the season.
